可持續(xù)發(fā)展大數據國際研究中心9月6日在北京正式揭牌成立，這是全球首個以大數據服務聯合國2030年可持續(xù)發(fā)展議程的國際科研機構。

China established an International Research Center of Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Beijing on Sept 6. It is the world's first international scientific research institution using big data to facilitate the implementation of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

可持續(xù)發(fā)展大數據國際研究中心是中國為支持聯合國在國際事務中發(fā)揮核心作用的實質舉措，為全球科學家參與和推動實現可持續(xù)發(fā)展目標提供的全新平臺。可持續(xù)發(fā)展大數據國際研究中心確立有五大任務，包括研發(fā)和建設可持續(xù)發(fā)展大數據平臺、開展可持續(xù)發(fā)展指標監(jiān)測與評估科學研究、研制和運行可持續(xù)發(fā)展科學衛(wèi)星、建設科技創(chuàng)新促進可持續(xù)發(fā)展智庫、提供面向發(fā)展中國家的教育和培訓。

可持續(xù)發(fā)展大數據國際研究中心面向可持續(xù)發(fā)展目標實現的重大需求，在地球大數據科學工程專項基礎上，建設多學科融合的可持續(xù)發(fā)展大數據云服務系統(tǒng)平臺，建立全球可持續(xù)發(fā)展目標監(jiān)測與評估體系，建成具有全球影響力的可持續(xù)發(fā)展大數據國際研究中心，為聯合國和中國落實2030年可持續(xù)發(fā)展議程提供科技支撐。

設立可持續(xù)發(fā)展大數據國際研究中心是我在第75屆聯合國大會上宣布的支持落實聯合國2030年可持續(xù)發(fā)展議程的重要舉措。2030年議程為各國發(fā)展和國際發(fā)展合作提出了明確目標。當前，世界正遭受新冠肺炎疫情巨大沖擊，科技創(chuàng)新和大數據應用將有利于推動國際社會克服困難、在全球范圍內落實2030年議程。

The founding of the International Research Center of Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals is an important move to implement my call at the 75th Session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly to support the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which sets clear goals for national development as well as global development and cooperation. The world is reeling under the huge impact of COVID-19. The sci-tech innovation and application of big data will help the international community to overcome difficulties and implement the UN 2030 Agenda globally.
